Nearly ALL
Art Deco watches of this period were manufactured in Platinum, White Gold, White
Gold Filled or chromed base metal. Only a very small percentage were built in all
Yellow metals. Finding the Yellow models are extremely difficult.
Finding them with Fancy, unusual or MINT condition dials
are practically impossible to find!!

gold filled including the back, the bezel & the extended curved lugs.
The case side feature attractive engraving. This long & curved case also
features the Art Deco "Empire" style stepped sides. The case
is 25.60mm wide

by 36.30mm Lug to Lug

signed, American made, 15 Jewel, caliber/grade 519 adjusted, precision manual wind movement.
Serial # 35,531,846.
OUTSTANDING mint condition, Fancy
Multicolor Art Deco
dial. Silvered background with pink/rose/copper color hour chapter
and bold gold Arabic Art-Deco numbers. The Elgin logo, center dial
trim, subsidiary seconds register and outer minute track are all
trimmed in black enamel.
This extremely well
preserved early timepiece miraculously has maintained its original
compound curved crystal!!!
