Longines Whittnauer 4 time factory
signed & hallmarked fancy curved case & Semi-Hooded lug configuration. The
elegant and clean lines of this watch "scream" 1940's. The case features all high polished top, sides, bezel
and extended lugs. The case back is finished with a
soft satin sand marked finish. The case
is 21.60mm wide (not counting the stem or crown) by
41.70mm
Lug to Lug
This Classic timepiece has
a beautiful mint condition dial. The background features a silvered
finely textured "sandstone"
finish with Bold Gold Arabic hour markers. The Whittnauer logo, the design on the subsidiary seconds
register and the outer minute track are trimmed in black enamel.
This watch has even managed to maintain mint condition "Baton" style hands.
Also, even the high dome
curved crystal is in perfect condition!!!
This classic and nice solid
gold high end timepiece deserved an equally nice
strap. We have just installed a new high end Hadley Roma genuine
lizard strap
