This watch was built by Hamilton as
a "Dress" Military "Officers" watch. It is a
quite "early" watch to have a sweep second pinion. Although it was
quite "dressy" in appearance, it still functioned with a true
Military "Hack" feature.
This is the Original 1945 model.
There was a Secometer B made in 1948, and a Secometer C made in
1951.

All Gold Filled Case
Case:
All original 3/4 or 1940's
Military "Mid Size" Gold Filled case. All high polished top, bezel, sides and
bold fancy curved extended drop lugs. 28.40mm wide (not counting the stem and crown) by
35.70mm lug to lug.
Movement:
Original Hamilton factory signed,
caliber 987-S, precision 17
Jewel, Jeweled sweep second pinion, Gold Jewel Settings, anti-magnetic,
Military "Hack" setting, precision manual wind movement.
Dial:
Beautiful Mint condition dial.
Black enameled background with bold 14 Karat Yellow Gold applied
Arabic numbers. The Hamilton logo, and outer minute track are
all trimmed in Gold enamel.
Original Lance pointer hands.
Strap/Band:
This Classic timepiece has a
new black crocodile grain
strap.
