Pocket Watch
New Old Stock, Never
Carried or Used,
Still in 1982 World's Fair
Box!!
All American Made
This is the hard to find Limited
Edition 1982 Knoxville Tennessee World's Fair Pocket Watch. There were
only 4200 of these ever produced and with current rate of attrition,
approximately only 300-350 are known to exist. Out of those, less than
5% are still in their original box in New Old Stock, unused MINT
condition! This one is an exceptionally rare find!
It is a full American 16 size measuring
49.60mm not
including the sleeve, stem or bow. The case is all high polished
chrome. The case back features a "stippled" or textured finish and still has its original
model #40689 factory sticker.
This classic collectible timepiece
is powered by an All American made, mechanical, pin lever, stem
wind and stem set movement with a subsidiary seconds register.
The Red, White & Blue dial is in
MINT condition featuring that years World Fair slogan "Energy Turns
The World" in lightning bolt style letters.
Why take a chance buying watches
from online auctions, 3rd parties, brokers or "middlemen" not knowing
for sure if the watch will be in proper running order when you get
it? Buy direct from a Vintage & Classic timepiece specialist and play
it SAFE!
