collectors guides as a "3 Star" timepiece meaning that fewer than
350 exist in the world. Out of this tiny number, only a handful are

"Top-Knot" Ball, Bail or Bow. This beautiful triple offset
hinged Hunter Case is a true work of art. There is intricate engine
turning, beautiful deep
hand engraving and black inlaid enameling on both sides of this magnificent timepiece.
The front side of the
case
features a still blank
initial shield while the back boasts a diamond cut & enameled
American Star. Even the inside of the front c over is a work
of art! It features an inner circle of "basket weave" pattern and
contracting outer wide ring of "chevron weave" pattern.
The movement is an
all original,
fully jeweled (7 Jewels) Solid Gold balance wheel, 3/4 Gold Gilt
plate, "P.S. Bartlett" model, "Patented November 30, 1858, key wind and key set from the rear
movement.
All original gorgeous
American Watch Company Porcelain single sunk dial. It is nearly impossible to
think this watch is almost 150 years old, and is still in this near MINT
condition!
