Heavy 14 Karat Gold "C.D.L." patented Expandable bracelet. This is a Classic original period piece from the (1960's). These bracelets were supplied to many fine Swiss & American  watch firms in the late 50's & early 60's such as Rolex & Bulova. This is 7 inches overall, but features spring loaded expandable capabilities.  

EXCELLENT Overall Condition

This particular Accutron Astronaut C has the world famous jeweled tuning-fork movement. This is the Bulova Accutron caliber / model 214. This one is 7 time factory signed and hallmarked. The case top,  bezel and bracelet are all 14 Karat Solid Gold. The case measures 38.00mm wide by 39.80 mm lug to lug.

The factory signed & hallmarked case back is fabricated from 14 Karat Yellow Gold Filled with stainless steel battery hatch cover & collapsible D-shaped setting mechanism.

This very collectible Accutron "Astronaut C" is sought by watch dealers & Accutron collectors alike.

There are two "similar" Accutron's models to this one. One is the "Astronaut A" that has an engraved bezel, but it is rigid and does not rotate for time zone changes. There is also an "Astronaut B" that does have a rotating bezel, but unfortunately, has a plastic bezel insert that tends to wear, or fall out. The Astronaut seems to be the most desirable of all the rare & collectible Astronauts.

 We just saw one of the  lesser expensive stainless steel Accutron Astronaut  models posted on other well known Accutron Specialists website for $1895. This was for a watch that had zero Gold in its content!!! The "quality" and rarity did not come close to this 14 Karat Gold model!!! 

"ALL" Accutron watches are getting very hard to locate that are sharp, clean and well running. However, Near Mint condition, Fancy, Asymmetric, or ultra RARE Accutron models like this one are getting close to impossible to find!
