This particular Accutron has the world famous jeweled tuning-fork movement. This is the Bulova Accutron caliber / model 218. This one is 7 time factory signed and hallmarked. The case top, sides, bezel lugs & back are all solid care-free stainless steel. The case measures 41.20mm wide by 45.20 mm lug to lug.

The Accutron signed crown at the 2:00 position sets the inners rotating World Time feature when calculating International time. The second Accutron signed crown at the 4:00 position advances the date only in the full "inward" position, and sets the time in the pulled "outward" position.

This very collectible Accutron is sought by watch dealers & Accutron collectors alike.

There are two "similar" Accutron to this one. One is the 666 foot "Snorkel" and the other is closer to this model but is "only" the Deep Sea version without having the "World Time" feature included in the same watch. Both of these somewhat similar versions are not nearly as scarce and hard to find as the DUEL "Deep Sea - World Timer" model. I

We just saw one of the lesser expensive NON DUAL model Accutron models posted as sold on other well known Accutron Specialists website for $1595. The "quality" did not come close to this one, nor did did it have a special Kevlar Deployment band like this one does!!!

"ALL" Accutron watches are getting very hard to locate that are sharp, clean and well running. However, Near Mint condition, Fancy, Asymmetric, or ultra RARE Accutron models like this one are getting close to impossible to find!
