"ANY" 100% original Accutron timepiece that is still running is a rare find! Normally, whenever these illusive timepieces are occasionally found, 90% of those are either gold plated, stainless steel or gold filled. However, finding 14 Karat solid gold models still laying around after the huge high dollar "gold meltdown" of the 1980's are "super scarce". Of the models that are rarely discovered in Dad's drawer, or shoe box of "used stuff", are in non running, or beat up condition. Because it is SO difficult to find even these broken, used, beat up & non running Accutrons, explains why this particular near "MINT" condition still in the box example is an absolute Showpiece!!!   

The dimensions on this rare timepiece are 33.90 mm by 39.90mm lug to lug. The top, sides, bezel and extended drop lugs are all high polished. Even the screw down water resistant case back is  high polished 14 Karat Gold. This watch is all original, 8 time factory signed & hallmarked and All American made.  The drop dead gorgeous dial is absolutely perfect, and features a mint frosted silvered background with 14 Karat Gold applied  hour markers. The Accutron logo, the date window and Tuning Fork logo are also applied 14 Karat Gold. The hands are luminous tipped Baton hands. The original Accutron offset crown is at the 4:00 position & has the Accutron tuning fork logo.  The strap on this special watch is also something special itself! The beautiful band is a top quality Accutron signed & hallmarked genuine lizard strap. This watch is miraculously still in it's inner and out Accutron factory boxes. This Accutron is humming away, keeping great time & running strong! "ALL" Accutron watches are getting very hard to locate. But all Solid Gold models that are original, & in near mint condition are next to impossible to locate !!
