In 1886 Richard W.
Sears resigned as a Railroad Agent and founded the R.W. Sears Watch
Company in Chicago Illinois.
In 1887 Alvah C.
Roebuck joins Sears after answering a newspaper ad for a watch
Sears & Roebuck started
their company selling watches, but also began selling diamonds &
jewelry. They constantly expanded the merchandise they sold to become a
full service Department Store.
This watch has simple Clean Cut
round case. All High Polished
top, bezel, lugs & water resistant case back.
