"Secometer B"

This watch was built by Hamilton as a "Dress" Military "Officers" watch. It is a quite "early" watch to have an 18th Jeweled sweep second pinion.

This is the Original 1948 Secometer B model. There was a Secometer A made in 1945, and a Secometer C made in 1951.

Case:

All original 3/4 or 1940's Military "Mid Size" Gold Filled case. All high polished top, bezel, sides and bold fancy curved extended drop lugs.  29.40mm wide (not counting the stem and crown) by 37.70mm lug to lug.

Movement:

Original Hamilton factory signed, caliber 748, precision 18 Jewel, Jeweled sweep second pinion, Gold Jewel Settings, anti-magnetic, precision manual wind movement.

Dial:

Beautiful original dial. Extremely fine non-reflective "sandstone" textured background with bold raised luminous Arabic numbers. The Hamilton logo, and outer minute track are all trimmed in black enamel. The hands are original blued luminous hands.
