American 12 Size case measuring 44.60mm (not counting the sleeve, stem, crown or bow). This case was built by Defiance and fabricated from tough base metal.

Elgin factory signed 3/4 Nickel Plate  movement, 7 Jewel,  Model 3 Grade 303, Compensated Balance Assembly, Beautifully Hand Damaskeened , Stem wind Stem Set movement.

Art Deco Dial with bold Arabic "Shadow" numbers in black enamel. The Elgin logo, subsidiary seconds register and outer minute track are also all trimmed in black enamel.

The companion piece is a Shell Oil Promotional -

Advertising Keychain or Watch Fob. Once the owner engraved ID numbers on the back, if the keys or watch was misplaced or lost, any finder could mail the found item to Shell Oil in New York City or drop off at any Shell Station. Shell would then see that the original owner received back their keys or watch.
