This very collectible Mickey Mouse character watch is
a rare full-sized Adult model. The greatest majority of all Mickey
watches were made in the small children's sizes. This Classic & 100%
all original Mickey was manufactured & distributed by Bradley,
and licensed & copyrighted by Walt Disney Productions. This
watch is part of a huge treasure of new-old-stock character watches we have
purchased. The
movement is a full mechanical Swiss made wind-up model. The case is black acrylic "Cycolac" with
matching black rubber & metal trim band. The mint condition
multicolored enameled dial features Mickey with both hands raised,
bold white hour markers,,, hour + minute hands with red sweep second
hand, inner bezel chapter ring with full tachymeter.
This rare timepiece referenced in the "Bradley
Character Watches Identification & Price Guide" book. The book was
published in 1995. Even though prices have gone up sharply since
then, the published dealer to dealer or collectors wholesale price at
that time was $300-$400.
As you can see, our Boomertime price is
substantially under the market value "then" as well as today!!!
