at heart. This is a rare - rare - rare item!!
If you are a beginning Accutron
collector, or shopping for that "$300- or less" Accutron, just stop
now, and look at some of our other far less rare &
collectible models! This bad boy is an extremely SCARCE, RARE, and
COLLECTIBLE Accutron. This is the Accutron Alpha (first) model. Solid Gold models are so
scarce, they are difficult to find even in very poor or non
working condition. However, trying to find one in extremely fine condition still
complete with inner & outer factory boxes, papers & warranty &
Accutron case key is close to impossible!!!
This Accutron watch is an early
2nd year of production model (1961) from Bulova. It is all heavy
gauge 14 Karat Yellow Solid Gold. The entire case, sides, bezel and
back are all high polished. The Alpha models had 3 different back
configurations. They came all stainless, 14 Karat with stainless
collapsible setting assembly & battery hatch cover, and entirely all
14 Karat Gold. This model is the earlier and more expensive "ALL"
Solid Gold model. The case measures 33.00
mm by 40.10mm lug to lug.
This exquisite & collectible
timepiece is powered by the original Accutron 214 grade Tuning Fork
movement that actually "hums" at a frequency of 360hz.
The factory original dial is
still in excellent condition! The dial features a finely textured /
frosted champagne gold color background. The Acutron Tunining Fork logo, The
Accutron logo and all of the hour markers are applied 14 Karat Gold.
The band on this
FABULOUS rare & exotic timepiece is also something special. This watch
comes with New Old Stock Accutron double Hallmarked brown crocodile
grain strap.

$1650-$1995!
