This
particular Accutron has the famous worlds first jeweled tuning-fork movements.
This is the Bulova Accutron caliber / model 218.
This one is 4 x factory
signed and hallmarked. It is All American made, & all original.
"ALL" Accutron's are getting scarce, but these Pendant, or
Pocket watch models are almost impossible to find !!
The
fancy asymmetrical case & bail
are fabricated from heavy gauge 14 Karat gold. The all 14 Karat Gold
"Fluted" or Coin Edge bezel catches the light as it move,
& makes a very
attractive design. Even the case back
is heavy gauge 14 Karat gold and features a fancy engine turned design. The case measures 39.25mm by 48.15 mm
not measuring the 14 Karat Gold bail.
The mint
condition frosted champagne color dial features 14 Karat applied gold hour markers,
as well as the 14 Karat gold Accutron logo, 14 Karat Tuning Fork logo
& the 14 Karat calendar window trim at the 3:00 position. The hour and minute hands are
in the Index shape configuration with a gold sweep second hand.
This Accutron
is humming away, keeping great time & running strong!
